Washers perform a viral role in cladding applications. It is important that washers are selected according to the requirements of the particular application. All washers are EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) backed, to give the very best possible seal, ensuring a watertight fix over the life of the construction.
A washer is used to seal head of fastener (make watertight) , as an isolator or to increase pullover value. A washer must be used if a colour cap is to be fitted. A washer also gives a good indication of when under or over driving.
